Contest Entry - Bring The Light (Jean-Christophe) Bring the Light was one of my favorite tracks from Zeitgeist. While this cover is technically sound I'm not sure I like it slightly sped up like this. It's like I'm racing to catch up with this song. You've done a great job ditching your accent, so kudos for that I guess. Though maybe it would have sounded nice with... I don't know. Interesting cover. (God that was a crap album!) Contest Entry - Bleeding The Orchid (eleihcs) Eleihcs, don't take what people say about your voice to heart. It's very lovely in it's way. Not everyone can sing like Billy, nor should they want to. Just remember that Billy himself thinks his voice is lacking. I really like your cover the music is tight, and I enjoy how you basically whisper the lyrics. A fine entry! Contest Entry - Neverlost (erenkoc) Part of what I love about the original is Billy's beautiful lyrics. The lyrics in this cover sound muddled and hard to decipher. I like the aquatic elements, thought a bit disjointed. The song wants to flow, but it doesn't flow together.
