Greetings! Just a quick note to say that things are still in orbit around Planet Pumpkin. Almost finished with drums and then we're cutting BC loose to work his magic. Its great to see a bit of light at the end of a long musical tunnel. I definitely feel proud and privileged to be a part of this journey. I hope you are ready........... We are! JC

means that the new album name/art/etc. (but not all the songs) mite be a kind of spacey theme

If Billy is the last step in the recording, how long do you think it would take for mixing and then release?

That's not Jimmy Chamberlin—it's Jesus Christ! Indeed, you just know that the Smashing Pumpkins comeback is going to be nothing short of phenomenal.

I thought that Jimmy would be talking to us straight with these blogs. He should cut the BC-esque BS, and give us some proper information about the album.

You know Jimmy, he always sounds like he's on this spiritual journey through the cosmos. He used to write in the same manner on the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex site. I don't think its a reflection of the album - although with songs already like "Rocket" and "Spaceboy" I think they could cut an entire album with a Space theme and KICK ASS!

Didn't it take about 6 months from the time Billy said he had completed The Future Embrace until it was released in stores?

that's seems right. there's no possile way it could be out by christmas. i doubt they'll even put up a song on their myspace within the next few months if at all. they might wait until right before the album comes out like billy did with tfe

I only meant that we've never been dissapointed before, I doubt the new album will dissapoint either.

Machina was a disappointment.

As were the Zwan and Corgan solo stuff, if you want to count that.

So on Corgan's most recent form, maybe we shouldn't get our hopes up for anything special...
