I recently checked out a CD from the library of flute music by Nawang Khechog. Inside the booklet it reads, "[Nawang's] live performances with Philip Glass, Paul Winter, Laurie Anderson, Paul Simon, Natalie Merchant, Baba Olatunji, Billy Corgan, and Michael Stipe have received international acclaim."
Does anyone know anything about this? Did he perform during a concert? Or is it, by weird coincidence, some other "Billy Corgan"?

I think he might be the guy who played on Bobby Franks for Corgan's solo Chicago show when he was doing the Chicago songs set and recording it live.

Maybe so. I found an article about that show that says, "...a Native American whose droning woodwind backdrops deepened the brooding atmosphere." If so, that's too bad they couldn't distinquish a Tibetan monk from a Native American!
