Yep, the SP fan base is cool, especially to one another.
I have so much love and gratitude for my fellow Pumpkin fans, I was never able to see the Pumpkins live.
Something always came up to prevent me: college exam, no car, and my Grandpa's birthday was on the same day as their Machina show!
Then Holasher, a fellow fan I met online sent me tapes from some of SP's best live shows!
When Billy was promoting Blinking With Fists, I was so excited to see him in person for the first time! I got to meet so many fans in person, and I've come to think we're much like the music we love: Diverse, yet Amazing and full of love!
Okay, now I'm getting sentimental.

do you reckon we'll be like annoying dads (or mums) in the future (like my dad going on about david bowie and dave lee roth and the scorpions and kiss and queen etc... oops.. i've actually just realised my dad has some taste! lol), telling our kids music is crap now and there are no good bands anymore...

"turn that f***ing music down, and what the hell is that you're listening too anyways... all i hear is drums and screaming...?"

maybe our kids will like and listen to the pumpkins like we listen to david bowie or whatever your dad (mum/mom) likes?

I think the Pumpkins are too good for our kids not to love them! Chances are, that if they love the pumpkins, they won't have a bad taste in music

Dude, absolutely! However, me and my girlfriend (yes, we're committed to the point that we've begun planning this stuff) have decided that we'll try our best to make it so that none of our children get lured into the trap of liking terrible music.

They must also be musicians...
