I was listening to the Pumpkins during my software applications class, and my teacher walked by and saw the artist name in Winamp. We started talking about TSP and he said he never really got into them... and that he remembered that he heard that right when they first started touring, they urinated on the crowd, and the entire front row was covered in urine. They used their stage antics to become popular, is what he said. I said he was full of crap, but he was persistent in saying he remembered hearing this happen.

Does anyone know of this actually happening? I'm intrigued to say the least.

He's a young guy. Early 30's. He's pretty cool. Listens to a lot of stuff I would - Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Black Sabbath etc.. but yea.

If you haven't heard about this guy (G.G. Allin) then go read some stories about him. Just unbelievable.

Doesn't sound like SP. Although in Jan 1996 at the 9:30 club, Billy had to "take a piss" in the middle of their set and contemplated outloud about doing it in his beer cup onstage.

P.S. The closest thing I've ever seen to pissing on a crowd was when I went to see Evanescence the other week some jackass through a full cup of coke in the air and it got all over everyone. He threw it so high it soaked everyone that was on the ground (thankfully I had a balcony seat with a perfect view. ^_^)

My chemical romance and PANIC at the disco say that the pumpkins are a big influence to them aswell, but i still HATE them both

well the closest thing ive heard to this, is when a guy urinated in a beer bottle and threw it at the singer of panic at the disco at one of their concerts. it hit him in the eye! try and upstage that!
