Hi
I just bought the color LP of Adore. But I don't know more about it, than this site writes under discography. First I thought it was a reprint of the original album, but it seems it's from 1998, so that can't be the case... Does anyone know if this LP is more rare or something than the original black/grey album, just curios  |

No extra tracks. In fact, there's one track less on the vinyl release: 17.
The main difference the mono mix.

Personally I think the Adore cover is better in black and white. It gives it that timeless feel that sums up the songss and emotions that created it at the time.

yeah the black and white is more dark and suits the album better. I have the vinyl as well. The mono mix is kind of cool. Sounds a little more raw then even the original which sounds raw itself.

There was only ever one release of Adore on vinyl, it has never been re-released, and was only released in the US.
I really like the colours on the vinyl, i think it just makes it look really beautiful like a rose.

My brother has a copy of the vinyl but I don't remember if he got it here in Canada or if he bought it in the US. For the purposes of the CD, the black and white is just fine and fits the album. But seeing it in color is kind of cool as well, shows us the artwork in a new light.

Either way, it is true, all copies are made in the US. I bought mine here in Europe and it also says "printed in the USA".

weird I see hords of them here in canada. I see adore on vinyl more than any other pumpkin album.

I can order as many as I want in a local record store. The price is ok. The Adore vinyl is more expensive than Gish or Siamese Dream, but it's cheaper than Machina on vinyl.
