I've seen that before a while ago, I still have some kind of faith that James and maybe D'arcy are in but I'm not 100%.

It looks like somebody did it for an assignment or something. Theres nothing new or definite in it.

Did that woman say "they will hit the studio in december"?? What's that supposed to mean? They've been in the studio for the past three (or even four) months

Well, he has to leave the Complex for a while cause he has a few other commitments to fulfill, but he seems alright, but I didn't really like The Calling.

There was a rumor that Billy Mohler would be in the new Pumpkins but that was a long time ago. Last year I learned from a reliable source that Brian Liesang would be involved but that was back in July 2005, so a lot could have changed since then.

What is your problem? Can't you just be happy with what Billy will provide. He is doing his best and obviously wants the band back as much as we do...hence the reunion. I need someone to tell me what talent D'arcy and James really had...Murder, you seem pretty neutral to everything, so why don't you tell me...how were they beneficial to the band? What talent did they bring? Im trying my best to be open-minded but I think its been proven that Billy is the mastermind behind the band from start to finish. It shouldnt matter who's behind him, as long as he has Jimmy.

Second, at least I believe that the original four members each brought something special to the band. You can't tell me that songs that James CO-WROTE wouldn't be different if he hadn't touched them. Songs like Mayonaise, or I Am One, or Soma...what about those? How can you say that James had no talent when Billy himself has acknowledged on numerous occasions that James guitar playing not only complements his playing perfectly, but in many cases it could make a song lots better than it would have been otherwise.

Also, I don't think Billy and Jimmy (mostly Billy) would have expressed regret at the changes in the lineup in the past if there wasn't something truly beneficial in having all four originals in the band. The Smashing Pumpkins are Billy, Jimmy, James and D'arcy and if they all think that's the best form their band should take, then I happen to think that's the best possible lineup. It probably won't end up that way, but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be.

I think he's a former touring member. He's a good bassist, but I didn't like the calling. Wikipedia says The Calling are going to release a greatest hits album, but they've only made TWO albums.

blistered avalon is the opposite to negative! all hes saying is that it would be awesome to have all four original members back, as they all gave their part to the pumpkins. whether it was just image or their sound.
i wouldve never looked at blistered avalon as negative- he always puts smiley faces at the end of his posts!!!
