My brother and I decided to take on all of Canada.

When it comes to meet ups in cities where my brother and I can't make it, we will delegate it to people who are situated in those regions. With Canada, we are so sparsely populated, that it just made more sense to create a Canadian one in general, rather than a city or province specific one.
We can always have Winnipeg meetups, when we go back home to visit relatives. And of course, have ones in the GTA. Karl Daher, who runs the Smashing Pumpkins Internet Fan Club lives in a small town outside of Winnipeg, so hopefully now we can get some real SP fan gatherings going on in that region now that its 'official'.
Of course, this is all a stalling tactic I am sure by the band, to divert our attentions while they finish the album, but it's kind of fun and new, and maybe people can meet less creepy SP fans this way :P.
