Billy Corgan's Voice, did something change? 2 Years ago
I was going through videos on YouTube and ran across this one:
I was quite surprised, as I admire Billy Corgan's voice, I don't recall any songs that he holds his notes so fluently as it does in this one. Are there any modern songs that Billy sings with as pleasant of vocals as this one has?

Corgan's voice sounds different on pretty much every album he put out. Wether or not that actually his voice changing or just the singing style is up for debate.
He is a lot like Bob Dylan in this way.

stumbeline hit the nail on the head. His voice has changed so much.. I personally prefer it in the earlier days. Its great now if he uses it softly but once he starts singing hard its all annoying and high pitched.

Billy's voice seems a bit more rough to me than in the early 90s with more deep lows and way more high pitched cracks . . .but still has that nasal quality!

heheh i like nasal
especially "brian molko" whine
i like billys voice and i think he has the coolest scream, not that i listen to screamo!, but when billy uses it , its like hes releasing all this white-hot energy.
i think he uses it well.

It's hard to describe but if we were to hang out I would play the songs and point out what I mean.
But for the sake of the internet:
Gish: Voice is much lower than on most SP releases. Very minimal whisper singing, almost no screaming and less dynamic then later cds.
SD: VERY VERY heavy on the dreamlike production. Also no screaming, very heavy on the whisper singing. Voice sounds higher and more dynamic.
MCIS: Oh man, glossy production of voice is gone. Lots of throat ripping screams and singing, very dynamic and passionate even on the slow songs. Just listen to in the arms of sleep, jellybelly.
Adore: Like MCIS but much more relaxed and haunting. MCIS and Adore seem to have the most similar singing style. Much better at holding notes and some of his highest singing. "If you have to go don't say goodbye." Introduction of the gravely voice featured on Annie dog, my mistake, etc.
Machina: Voice is lower and more calculated. Vocals are WAY up front and much louder than on previous albums.
Zwan: The higher singing is gone, lots of vibrato, barely any sighs.
TFE: A lot more familiar singing to his adore era with subtle changes, vibrato.
