Clearly this isn't official but does anyone no anything about Smashing Pumpkins playing Reading Festival this year? It was in NME that they are gonna be headlining. I'm already definately going just off thse rumours

Nothing sbeen confimed but I think that they are gonna play at a major uk festival and as Download has already confirmed headliners, my bet would be on reading. NME's statement is only an estimate but they are right about the headliners pretty much every year.

at the official myspace meet-up in london a while back - when TPQ was in charge - it was mentioned that they'd be playing... the official announcement is monday 19th march - hold on to your hats...

Yeah, they were pretty much right about the Pumpkins headlining last year's Lollapalooza and Coachella, and well, pretty much all their Pumpkins news.

that would be sweet if they play reading and headline the damm thing awesome they deserve it who else will headline it reading needs the pumpkins.

if they do play monday, then will it be televised?
i hope at least one of their concerts will be, like one in a different country, so i dont miss it.

Noooo the line-up is announced Monday !! If they do play Reading that isn't until the 24th August.
