Yeah...I agree. Jimmy is a really phenomenal drummer, but as fans I'm sure that we get eclipsed by his awesomeness from time to time (and I don't think it's just bias, he's a great, great drummer). But with that said, Matt Walker, Joey Waronker and Kenny Aronoff (on tour) are all great drummers and I think they were a great fit for Adore. It's like someone before said, every track on Adore seems perfectly placed. I think that has a lot to do with the drumming (or lack thereof) as well.

As for my favorite song from the album...I really cannot pick. That'd be another of those "favorite child" dillemmas.

Why were the drumson the everlasting gaze sophisticated? i mean they were a little complex, going with interwined open high hats in between the snares and bass, they doing that short two crash fill, but why were they "sophisticated"?

I guess when you compare the drums on Machina to the drums on Adore its a huge, huge difference. (Considering Adore was done with a drum machine) I don't know if sophisticated is the word I would use....

i did and would again use the word it can mean complex and jimmy stated on the gh dvd that it was very diffucult even for him because it was so complex,if you see the t.e.l.g. commentery on the gh dvd jimmy says it was hard for him.i hope u all understand what i meant but maybe a poor choice of words

I remember what you're talking about, how TEG is a very difficult piece to play (according to Jimmy). I can see how he could make that observation.

It all just proves how awesome it is that Jimmy continually tries to challenge himself.
