Well I grew up with the Pumpkins--my mom has listened to Siamese Dream through out my younger years--So for me, I find it kind of obstacle or maybe perhaps the shining example of me progressing in my musical choices, to just plain love. I was going through a hard time when I rediscovered my love for the Pumpkins so it's kinda let me see how much I've matured and grown.

It's basically the same with me as it is with everyone here. Before I startet listening to SP, I was just a casual listener. Music was more on the background of my life. Since I came in contact with the pumpkins, music has become a major part of my life. Suddenly, I started discovering other great bands and I wanted to make my own music. SP was my first musical love, the one you keep coming back to. It sounds strange, but it feels like a good and stable long-term relationship. I'm not as passionate about the pumpkins as I used to be, but I still love them with all my heart and couldn't bare to live without 'em. After all these years, their music still gives me this kind of special feeling.

Same, i only wish i had got into them alot sooner, i had my 1 year aniversary last week, i listened to gish, siamese dream, and mellon collie and then vieuphoria all the way through all of them, it was very nice for me.

What about PI, Adore, or Machina? Not to mention the MCIS singles...they're the best ever. I hope you listened to them
