i have a theory. if the seven deadly sins thing that might be the concept? behind the album, then i think that the 7 Shades of Black song might be the one most about those sins, maybe. cuz ya know, black is like a sinful color perhaps, and theres seven shades of it (according to the song), which may be referencing to the 7 deadly sins. i dunno. just a thought....

But the song title itself is really great. Some of the song names are very intimidating.

There is a number of directions they could go with this. Not quite sure. You know meet those kind of people who insist on wearing all black, all the time, that sort of mentality. To give an example, the attitude that some of the kids had who adopted stereotypical goth roles on that episode of South Park. Sort of fatalists. Hopefully people know what I am trying to get at.

If it is about that maybe I could get extra credit in my religion class, woot!.

But seriously, it is always difficult to deduce anything from a simple title, like if the gish titles were released before the album came out i would love to see how people looked into them. I mean, rhino, siva, suffer, snail. Its impossible to conclude everything. Im not saying dont discuss the issue, but remember that billy has always made everything rather open to individual interpretation anyway. The songs could be about anything and everything.

Even if there are porn-stars on the front cover? I don't think that will be the cover, the none of the band have ever been on a front cover of anything they've released (except Gish of course). Maybe they are in the video or something.

Now that I think of it, if they had that somewhere in the continuity of it all, it wouldn't be all that bad if it was used in a satirical manner.
