Yeah, that just isnt going to happen, billy wouldnt let that happen. He wouldnt bother making a new album if he didnt have fantastic material prepared

leaks are no good, billy might make a half good album.

Some of the "leaks" may be fakes...like the ones those dumb-asses performed themselves in December 2006.

Hey, I'll answer the question: If it sucks - the people here will still say its good. Billy will still tour, diehard fans will still go to the shows, life as you know it will continue. BUT MAYBE - just maybe a failed SP project will be just what Billy needs to finally make him see that it just aint the same - without a boy named James.

Meh, I don't want James back enough for Zeitgeist to fail. That IS a big sacrifice, isn't it?

OK - Maybe you understand - I didnt say I hoped Zeitgeist would be bad so Jmaes will come back, the question was WHAT IF ZEITGEIST SUCKS....if it sucks hopefully something positive will come out of it.

Believe, you've really been losing yourself lately. since the news was spreaded that james isn't in SP2, you seem to have become the most pessimistic person on this whole site.
I'm not telling you to get over it, because I know it's not that simple, but try to stop being so pessimistic about all of it. You act as if nothing that billy/jimmy will say or do, will bring you any good. You act as if you still believe that you cannot be saved.

Believe is allowed to say what he likes, i wont say it isnt slightly offputting at times, but believe is allowed to believe what believe likes.

I feel sorry for you Joene because you obviously take these boards too personal as well. Maybe you (like others)just cant stand to hear that maybe this album will suck but hey - I didnt ask the question (I just answered it). I'm also sorry that I am one of the few fans of James and Darcy left on this site but I am also one of the oldest (age) members here so I DO actually remember they were in the band - so yes when I see people write things like "James is a Bitch" I take offense because I like the Smashing Pumpkins - u know the people that made Gish, SD, MCIS, etc.

Might I add that just because I am a fan of someone's doesn't mean I am a zombie that must agree with every decision they make - If Billy is your god, fine but he's not mine. I love his music - I love SP - but my opinion is MY OPINION. If you dont like it - I'm truly sorry about that but am I supposed to lie? People say they dont like TFE all the time on these boards - thats a negative thing to say too, why dont we stop them - because its just AN OPINION!

Here's my advice to you Joene - If you love the Pumpkins, LOVE THE PUMPKINS - dont let what someone says in a thread change the way you feel. That way when someone has a different opinion than you it wont affect you so much. I disagree with alot of people here and I still consider them my friends - we just disagree on certain things.

hey, Believe, my comment about feeling sorry about you was no offence at all, just so you know. I don't take these boards personal at all, you may all say and think what you're gonna say and think. I've always been the kind of guy that has his own opinion about music and my taste was never really influenced by anyone else.

But there indeed lies the difference, Believe: you're older, you were an sp fan at the time they still existed. I wasn't, and I don't know how it was to have all four of them together.

I don't care if we disagree, I also consider you my friends, my note to you, Believe, was just to say that I just wish you weren't so sad about James not being part of SP2, that's all there's to it for me.
