with that said i was checking out netphoria and i found this...

the way the guy is describing this is similar to the one guy who said he saw d'arcy's bass rig at an unnamed chicago studio. maybe the guy was telling the truth and d'arcy is back.

This news is quite exciting, was it the same person though? The two stories I read sound just about the same and I think it might be the same guy posting on different boards. I'm probably way wrong though

Oh and I think James is lying about his involvement in the band. I think it is a tactic to shake off fanboys. So this could mean (in my fantasy world) that all four original members will be gracing us soon!!!

yeah, the first thing i thought was that it was the same person. but why would he not have mentioned the d'arcy thing, because pretty much the whole point of him making that post was to talk about d'arcy being in the band, and the whole point of the netphoria post was to just say where they were rehearsing.

imagine that your downstairs and above you is billy and jimmy practicing, that would blow my mind.

I know its probly fake, but it does interest me that the netphorians took it seriously.

Why would I be kidding? Is it not possible for James to be working on a second solo album and working with the Pumpkins? He did it the first time.

I will be surprised if he's not in it. Besides why did he wait till just last month to mention this? Why not in February when the album information started coming out? Or in 2006 when they started recording?

Why? Even if this article is true all it means is that The Pumpkins are rehearsing for their world tour. It doesn't say anything about Darcy so why would anyone find it hard to believe?

Well first of all there was no article, or proof that the Pumpkins are practicing there, just someone who says his friends band is practicing there. And the people on netphoria are usually skeptical of everything and tear people apart who bring things like this up, especially new users who have no feedback.

It's like people who don't want to believe that Elvis died.
Or in my case, I didn't want to believe Brandon Lee had died. When The Crow came out on VHS I watched the interview with him at the end, and convinced myself for a long time he'd faked his death. You have to understand I had SUCH a crush on him.
So I'm not going to oppose anyone who wants to believe D'arcy, Jimmy, Billy, and James are all going to be on stage next month. Time will tell.

People who believe that D'arcy is in the band, are just making things hard on theirselves. Sure, there is a (tiny) chance that d'arcy is indeed in the band, but if you believe that and hope for it, you're only gonna get dissapointed.
We should all just accept that worst case scenario, that way we're not gonna get dissappointed anymore.

I used to live by that and it almost destroyed my life. Sure it makes sense in theory, but it makes it impossible to care about anything, its terribly depressing
