I'm just curious if I'm the only one who hasnt listened to the new songs (besides turantula because I hear it on the radio several times a day). It seems like everyone here has listened to the live versions and watched the bootlegs. I've resisted the temptation and was wondering if anyone else has had the same will power. I want to buy the album the day its released and listen to it straight through unbiased. if that makes any sense.

I know what you are saying... and I thought I would have willpower... but man was I wrong! I envy you for being able to listen to the album without hearing United States and Bleeding the Orchid beforehand... but I have Pumpkin in my heart, and I just couldn't resist. I do believe you may possibly be the only one who frequently visits this site that has not listened.

i havent listened to any of the bootlegs, though i have listened to taratula. its not because of willpower, its because i cant be bothered to use up that many mbs on my computer.

I've only watched a video of "For God and Country" one time and listened to the 20 second clip of "Doomsday Clock" on the promo video. I've avoided everything else so far (besides Tarantula of course), which is hard since I've already uploaded 3 shows.  |

I guess I want to remember listening to the album for the first time doing something cool. I dont want to hear everything for the first time sitting at my cluttered computer desk. but when I hear all the things everyone else is saying it makes me want to listen to the songs right away. I've even stared at the links wondering, but I figure I've gone this long without new material whats another month?

I've heard Tarantula and the Grand Rex United States n' that's it, it's not really cos of willpower, it's cos of my incredibly poor net connection lol.
I would love to be doing something special for Zeitgeist, I was gonna go out n buy it with my fiance n go home, lie on the ebd n listen to it all the way thru in silence or something, but she already tarnished the first time I ever heard tarantula by braking up with me on the same day

I'm also trying not to listen to new songs. I've heard Tarantula because it's all over the radio station and it's unavoidable.
I've heard a bit of United States and then I shut it off so I could wait until the album comes out.

I've listened to live bootlegs, but to me it doesn't count cause 3 songs into i can't stand it cause I can't hear a thing. For God and Country and Tarantula are the only ones I could tell I liked.

I've requested Tarantula on the radio.
I listened to a couple live songs, but couldn't hear them very well, so I got frustrated and decided it really is better just to wait.
But I know what you mean, I'm dying to hear Bleeding the Orchid and 7 Shades of Black.
