so i finally bought mary star of the sea, lol, two dollars from the pawnshop
man i love this cd, its like sd without the ninties influence, mary star of the sea is like such a good guitar song, it reminded me of by starlight, made me think about the ocean i thought about with by starlight and farwell and goodnight. i love it. i say its a pumpkins album  |

I'm glad you finally bought it.  Haha, I drove 30 minutes in a snowstorm just to get it on the day it was released. No joke. That's how much of a Billy-fanatic I am.
I do not think of this as a Pumpkins album. But it is a very good album. I cannot pick a favorite off that one... |

If you get the 2 disk version, it has a DVD with some pretty worthless video but the songs are amazing! I don't know why they didn't release any of that stuff! Spilled Milk and My Life and Times are great songs.

Yeah, I also have the 2-disk set, and I agree that they had many great songs that weren't on the album...

I think ZWAN was better as a live group, the record did not justice.
Songs like LOVE LIES IN RUIN, CAST A STONE, TO LOVE YOU, or RIVERS YOU CANīT CROSS were not in, and other were in but sound worse than live versions.

Zwan is great, hmm? I don't listen to MSOTS as much as the other Pumpkins albums, but when I do I enjoy it thoroughly. |

I was in a food court area for lunch about a half hour ago and some girl walked through wearing a zwan shirt. it made me smile.

i agree! ZWAN was an awesome concept especially as a live band. They were under appreciated in their time! msots was a great album, but their greatest material was not even on the album. Love Lies in Ruin, Rivers We Can't Cross, Permanence, The Shining Path, and Friends As Lovers Lovers as Friends are such amazing songs! It was so sad that the band ended so bitterly because Billy is so soured to the rare ZWAN/Djali ZWAN material now he may NEVER release it. I was lucky enough to see them in Minneapolis on the opening date to their MSOTS tour! Ahhhh, great memories!!  |

I do have to say that I love Zwan. MSOTS is an album that really cheers me up, especially Endless Summer. One mightly sexay song  . But I keep hearing it, what is Djali Zwan?? |
