Apparently according to Netphoria the song is doing really well in some regions and getting next to no play in others.

In Los Angeles, the song is HUGE! I hear it at least once a day on varied stations, and on tastemaking station KROQ, it's currently one of the top 5 requested songs. And honestly, I'm seeing hubbub about SP's return in plenty of publications I'd never thought would give a shit about them. It's all gravy!

It's #1 here in Tallahassee, not that that's saying much. God I can't wait to move to Chicago in a month.

Rolling Stone wasn't kind to "Tarantula", yet when Pitchfork streamed "Tarantula" they were surprisingly kind and enthused. That's weird.

It's so good to hear this kind of news.

My local station is continuing to frustrate me. To date I've heard Tarantual 1 time and then today I'm driving along listening and they say... "After the break we have The Smashing Pumpkins for you." I was so excited I cranked it up, and then they played 1979. Well, guess that's something at least.
