did u get the pics from the label as more of a "keep confidential"/just for you thing? or was it an email that anyone wouldve gotten if they asked the label about the special edition?

Kind of a little bit of both. I think I can describe it. It doesn't have a price yet, but looks like it will be expensive. Doesn't say or look like it will have a DVD though

Anyways, it's 76 pages and has some pretty neat looking visuals incorporating album artwork. The pictures that were stolen looks like they may have been used for this. As in they were shot using the same kind of film with some of the people in those photos. (I didn't see Paris Hilton though

I'm not going to show any of those pictures right now even though that may help preorders to some places, I think that would be ethically wrong right now as I don't know who to ask for "permission to leak on the Internet". It's longer in width than it is height. Pretty much looks like a little coffee table book. Same cover as CD (red with statue of liberty). It has 2 screws holding it together. And, um, I think right now that is all I can say about it. I can tell you the price hasn't been determined at this time. So I really don't know the physical quality of this as I haven't touched it.

I wonder what the packageing will be. Normal CD case, folded cardboard like all the NIN or Pearl Jam stuff, or something different?

How did you get that? Is it from work?

Just checked amazon and they say a special edition with a book will be available 7/10 for about $25.

I was already thinking about that a while ago, that Gossamer might be a hidden track... maybe it's going to be a hidden track even on the standard version of the album, given the fact that they play it at almost every show.

Did they do this before on world tours, frequently perform songs that were not on the record??

Yay b-sides!! I hope they release some EPs as well in the vain of the Zero one with like 7 tracks on. Or is that asking for to much??

As the 10th draws near, I'm ever so excited for the release of Zeitgeist in my area! I plan on buying both the Target version, and the special version with the book. However, I was wondering if I should preorder the special version now? I've never bought any "special edition" things before, and am unsure. Would I just be able to walk in to say, Besy Buy, and find it? Or do you think it would sell out in the first few minutes? I'm not sure what to do...
