More new songs, amazing stuff. And I actually like the Tarantula cover, Paris Hilton holding a BlackBerry. The thing is, think about it: Zeitgeist means something along the lines of "spirit of the age", it describes the intellectual and cultural climate of an era. Who's Paris Hilton? A spoiled brat who thinks she can do whatever she wants, she is THE example of the 21st Century rich person. I see it as a critical point of view on the world today. |

Can anybody from Norway confirm that they have this single or have seen it? I'm all for getting the best single. It just sounds vague, as though it is some song not on the Zeitgeist album.

Same reason she was hanging out backstage with CSS at Coachella when they have a song making fun of her, which they performed.
Personally I'd rather not have to see her face anymore. Even if it is to make a point.

As annoying as she is, I try not to hate anyone. She's human, just like all of us. I know she's spoiled and all that stuff, but I still feel bad for her and anyone else that the media makes fun of- whether they deserve it or not. I don't mind that she's on the cover; I agree that she does help represent "the spirit of the age", so I think it works nicely...
But with all of that said, I miss the deep, creative artwork they used to have. I am not impressed with the Zeitgest artwork at all... Adore and Machina were the best in this department... oh well, at least it doesn't change the music!!!

That's the cheesiest part!
With this Tarantula cover as well as the Zeitgeist cover it looks like they're trying to make an outright point instead of doing the art they've done before.
