Bastards! I want the book and the DVD! (I'm figuring I'll be able to get hold of the bonus tracks some other way...)

This is really quite harsh on the fans...if I didn't want that album so bad, I'd be tempted to wait it out, see which version's the best according to everyone here...

i'm gonna get the coolest one I can buy at a store....

I've added singles and promos to the list.


The Tarantula promo comes in (at least) 3 versions: US jewelcase PRO-CD-102040, DE jewelcase PRO16381 & UK cardsleeve PRO16381. This is what I know so far, the US and UK pics are already on SPfreaks (easy job, took them from eBay ).

There is also a 6 track Zeitgeist promo to be rumoured, this version shown is a pretty cool scoop of Murder McMurderson, as it looks like the full tracklist version promo... Good work Murder! I got my music industry sources put on getting that stuff, so hopefully I can show some more scans/pics soon.

We should start adding what version you can get at the various stores to the list as well for those of us who will be making the journey on Tuesday. Looks like Target will have the Purple version and it looks like pretty much every store will have the booklet available. Any word on the other ones?

Murder, the yellow Germany issue with the extra track looks a bit strange to me... the link http://www.amazon.de/Zeitgeist-Amazon-Exklusiv-incl-Bonus/dp/B000RL6GC8/ref=sr_1_2/028-6948510-9490901?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1182295820&sr=1-2 goes to a "non-pic"-ed Zeitgeist with indeed an extra track, but it states there also: Produktinformation DVD (6. Juli 2007). Could this just be the DVD edition with Death From Above on the DVD, only a bit differently (not to say wrongly) described? And how do you know it comes with the yellow artwork? I thought the yellow artwork is 101CD.com only... Needs a bit more research maybe?

Yup, I agree. I'd prefer the red one, but I neeeeeed that booklet, so I'm buying the purple one (provided it's in stores). I'll probably end up downloading those extra tracks as well... Death From Above, Stellar... and hopefully many more!!!

Hmm. The yellow cover was there just a few minutes ago. It even said Yellow in the title. But it's changed now.

I really loved the idea of ripping on Paris Hilton... at least, that's what I assumed they were gonna be doing when it was rumored about their jam room being raided and those guys finding defaced pics of her... but now I see this other Tarantula single (the one with Paris on the cover) and I'm thinking "ahhhh.. common' they should have done something a little more edgy with that art work..."
I mean, what's the point? It's Paris Hilton, the Hollywood-crybaby-slut-queen... and she's just standing there with her purse and blackberry in hand... I expected something more controversial... thats all.

....Ohhhh... I just went to Amazon, saw a bigger picture and noticed the nuke going off in the background... that's more like it Hmmmmmm...

It will show all available Zeitgeists on Amazon.de. And again no pic, same price as DVD release, DVD mentioned also... I'm putting my money on a newbie on the payroll at Amazon.de that just hates the Pumpkins, and tries to piss off the honest fans here.

Another thingy, just got an email from a guy that claimed to have seen a grey version "on some website"... Asked him to provide more info. In this case I set my money on a brightness setting that had just been wrongly adjusted.
