Okay, my mind works in weird ways. Not sure even what forum this should go in but I was watching The X-Files recently and thought of this.

Gish... named after (or something, correct me if I'm wrong) actress Annabeth Gish. She starred as FBI agent Monica Reyes in The X-Files, and now there's Ginger Reyes in the Pumpkins.

Years ago I use to connect every other band with SP like six degrees of separation. I shall go back to bed now (sick).

you want to hear about the mind working in weird ways? years ago after SP's last show, I was sitting in my room daydreaming about the future, and my mind wandered into the future of SP, and if they'd ever reunite. I thought about who would come back to the band, and what they'd sound like. I actually envisioned most of the songs they'd write, the titles, melodies and lyrics (bleeding the orchid, doomsday clock, for god and country, and gossamer were dead on). Also I imagined billy coming out in a black and white costume in the year 2007, so now I'm kind of freaking out to myself. I haven't told anyone about this yet because I know they'll just look at me funny, but now I'm a total believer that humans can see the future.

Now that is weird shizzle but I must ask, are you actually been serious??

I'm 100% serious about their show and songs and wardrobe being exactly how I thought they'd be.

I even started to write songs over the past couple of years that have lyrics similar or identical to these new ones but never got serious enough about recording them.

I guess it's just a case of two musicians having similar ideas.

The same thing happened to me. When they first broke up I really thought they were done, then about two or three years ago I was driving around with my girlfriend at the time, who never got a chance to see the pumkins, suddenly disarm is on the radio and she says wish I could have seen them live. Then I had this strange feeling like I was connected to someone and I knew the pumpkins would be back soon. I knew the sound the look everything I knew it all. Then came the ad in the tribune.

I think people are psychic or can be. I sometimes have wicked deja vu moments, and sometimes do think of an event or situation and it happens. Not saying I'm psychic but sometimes I think if you wish enough, things happen.

I always held out hope SP would reunite, although I knew it was next to impossible that D'arcy and James would be in.

I envisioned that they'd play "Today" at their first show... Now that's Psychic. I also envisioned James and D'arcy not being in the band.
