I've preorder the 2 Tarantulas and a Purple Zeitgeist with Book from play.com for £12.99, I'd prefer a red Zeitgeist with book though, anyone know where to find one of those?

And I'm thinking of ordering the Zeitgeist mentioned in my post too, I'd rather not have 2 Purple Zeitgeists though

It's ignorant. People always blame the artist, when a majority of any decisions of this type are made by the label, when it's a major label. Pitchfork should know better. They're not new, they should know how things work in the world.

As the DVD is Germany only, maybe it's the Rock Am Ring performance? Just a thought...

The iTunes Canada version does not have the Ticketmaster code it appears (just a link to the info about the possible cities SP will play in,etc), and does not include the 5 myspace covers (which I won't leave sleep over since the entire CD is in Spin magazine if you want it).

It comes with "Stellar" as a bonus track regardless of whether you pre-order it or not, which I think is the same as the US iTunes. However, it appears our pre-order bonus is the song, "Zeitgeist".

I guess they did that because they can't offer a Canadian tour date bonus through Ticketmaster.ca, and we don't have Target or anything like that here. We do have Best Buy, but no special versions outside of the deluxe edition or whatever that is already offered everywhere else (with the booklet).

So if you are in Canada and want to just get all the songs available on the different Zeitgeists and get the booklet, you could just buy the CD with the booklet, pre-order the iTunes Canada version with the two bonus tracks, and then to get "Death from Above", you can order the "Tarantula" CD single import off Amazon.ca

Murder, here's another Zeitgeist for your list: Taiwan with Taiwan-only OBI. My local source emailed me this:

"By the way, 'Zeitgeist' was released in US by Reprise, so I phoned Taiwan Warner this afternoon, they say it'll be released w/OBI next month as you expected."

This little scoop is yours, it's not even on our website! 

No further information yet, but I expect it to be the standard red release.

Maybe not the right place to post the following information, but I didn't want to create another post for this: my source in Taiwan also found 9 other unknown Smashing Pumpkins CD's: 4 different EMI Hit disc promo's with Pumpkins tracks and 5 album releases: 2 MCIS (green obi and white obi), Adore with 2nd type obi and Gish and Pisces Iscariot both with green obi's. Scans soon available on our website. Hope you don't mind sharing this already with the other collectors!

For the record, will be able to buy any of the versions with the 72 page booklet in stores or can they only be ordered through online vendors like Amazon.ca or Bestbuy.ca? Because I would rather be able buy the 72 page booklet version in stores, rather than just the standard release version.

Do we know what the hell's in the booklet, or on the DVD???
