Firstly, Heyhey! (First post on these forums by this huge Pumpkinhead - i'm not lying either..you know how hats are "one size fits all"? Well, I need special hats custom made for a Pumpkinhead as nothing else fits me!)


Anyway, been listening to Mashed Potatoes all week & have been cracking up at the 2:15 mark in Jesus Loves His Babies (outtake 91).

It's the part where Jesus leaves a message on Billys' answering machine saying; "Billy, Billy, pick up the phone, I know you're there. It's Jesus, I'm very angry at you. I'm going to punish you Billy [Laughs]I'm going to punish you Billy [more laughs]. Can you hear me Billy? Are you listening? I hope you're listening Billy."

So what's your funniest moment in a Pumpkins song? Is it a certain lyric, instrumental or something weird like the above?

I always kinda laugh in "Pennies" when he goes "I've got a new girlfriend, and she looks a lot like you dear!"

The TV segment at the end of Spaceboy and how billy simply put it on there to be funny.

and of course the classic "Do the rubberman"

This makes me laugh my ass off every time.

& also the part in 'Jesus Loves His Babies' always makes me crack up !!

hahaha i watched that today and laughed my face off. some guy was fixing my door and he was watching it too. he asked me if it was a video of my friends and i thought about slapping him in the face. i educated him on a brief pumpkins history. he probably wishes he never stopped at our house.

i haven't a clue. then when i told him he was like "oh. well i've heard of them before but i didn't know what they sang. i'm an old man. i'm in my fifties. but i know some of the newer rock like nickelback." when he said that, i knew why he'd never listened to the pumpkins- he was a major loser who listened to terrible bands like nickelback (sorry if i'm offending anyone)
