the picture was probably just backwards. As far as I know billy is left handed, but he can't play a left handed guitar. I'm not sure though... that makes me wonder.

Yeah I found it on myspace when I signed in... I think it's a really good interview, talking about United States just makes me think how much more God-like Jimmy is as a drummer.

I must say that I strongly disagree with Billy's opinion on revolution and Jesus. Think about where we would be now if there had been no revolutions (in the traditional sense of the word). Were would we be without the influence of the roman empire and stuff?

The Roman Empire Fell. As do all empires that try to conquer and dominate. That was the point.

The Roman Empire gave us nothing. If you are speaking of the inventions that came out of that period - those came from GREAT THINKERS who usually had beliefs that put them at odds with the Roman Empire.

If the Roman Empire was around today they'd most likely have conquered america by now and you'd either be a slave or you'd be fighting off lions in the coliseum this wednesday.

And Jesus' message was for people to love each other.

Well, while I found nothing wrong with those statements, all of Billy's other comments were disturbing to me (and I'm probably alone on this one) But it seems that Billy is having an identity chrisis. He's purposely trying to stop himself from making music he would make if he aloud himself to. He's completely turned off at sounding anything like himself which probably explains why i don't like the new album. I think he should take a note from a band like U2 who has learned to embrace the sound they created. That's why they still have legions of diehard fans because they've never NOT tried to be U2. (People love U2 so why would they???) It seems this was more of a tribute album for Billy - an homage to bands he used to like. Since I don't like any of those bands it would explain why i don't like this album. I'll be soooo happy when Billy is ready to be Billy again...I mean if he doesn't want to be him - who can I turn to when I want to hear some Billy?

when i met the pumpkins for the machina tour autograph sessions billy signed my Siamese Dream album w/ his left hand...i was truly shocked! later on i heard an interview or read an article about billy using his left hand because it was so much stronger that his right...makes sence to me i guess...
