So are you gonna go? I think I fit in the "probably". I'm going to guess that their first show will be at the Metro, where my first concert was, actually (The Futureheads last year). The only problem is that none of my friends listen to the same music, which really sucks. I'll probably drag someone along, though.

BTW, if you were going to make a mix for a non-Pumpkins fan, what songs would you think would be the best starters? Should I just give a copy of Rotten Apples or do you have a different idea for a track listing?

One more thing: do you think it'll be nearly impossible to get tickets, as in tents outside the ticket booth days before, or do you think it'll be like a regular show?

thats cool, might have to do the same, drag a frend along. i think its best that you put a few of their singles just so they can recognize atleast a few songs&then throw in some obscure songs. yep. im guessing itll get alot of coverage/press so maybe therell be a line.

There will be an L.A. show, so if I have the money I'm probably going. Even if it is expensive...

If SP play thier first gig in 2007 then theres a good chance i will, but i need to save up as i live in the UK. If its this year then there's no chance of me going and i'll have to wait until they come to the UK. But again, it depends on the first tour and if they come over here, if not then i'll try and make it to one of the later gigs on the East coast.

How expensive do you think tickets will be? I read some article in the Chicago Tribune yesterday, saying that the highest ticket prices can be up $150, the most expensive tickets being the ones for Madonna. Not that I'd want to see Madonna.
Hopefully it won't be that pricy. How were ticket prices for the Pumpkins before?

well, you have to understand..they're goign to sell out super fast

and then you'll have to pay really high prices to get them
