Yeah the video is a step up from "Tarantula" but when they announced the director was the same as "Tarantula", I didn't expect much. This guy sucks and needs to stick to making crap band videos and expect the possibility of directing xXx 3.

I don't get this band nowadays and why they don't even attempt to make an effort towards their artwork. I'm not even sure I like the album cover anymore.

I just hold the art to high regards because that's always been a perfect part of the Pumpkins.

i'm not a big fan of the album cover either. it seemed too... i don't know i can't think of a decent word to describe it. plain maybe? simplistic?

I just saw the video, I think it's awesome. It wasn't anything like Tarantula, but it was still kind of trippy and out there in the same way. It reminded me a lot like Rocket's video, except with a bigger special effects/ green screen budget. I hope to see this on TV soon.

TV soon? I haven't even seen Tarantula on TV. Then again, music channels don't show music videos.

I've seen tarantula a few times now, probably more than I've ever seen 1979 or Tonight.

I didn't really like the video for Cherub Rock, that kinda sucked in my eyes, didn't really like the Gish videos either, this is better than Cherub and I like it more than the Gish vids, however the Gish vids are still better, if that makes sense.

but I think we all need to stop living in the past.

This video reminded me of The End is the Beginning is the End video, and I didn't like that one much. One thing that I've liked about the best Pumpkins videos is their ability to take the viewer into an alternate or even trippy reality. That's the Way just seems to be about heaping on the effects rather than what kind of feeling they create. I also missed how the theme of the video matched the story of the song...they use to be so good at that

I like the video. The bit where they were all talkin' on the screens reminded me of rocket.

i hope there will be another video. i just felt like they could have done an amazing video for this song. it's a shame...

I don't understand the negative feedback, it's going back to the old style of SP videos. It's really atmospheric, it fits the song, and is spacey.
