I take netphoria seriously. Thats where all the news, leaks and info come from. I don't post there, but I do browse and then post what I find here!

The only reason they get everything first is because they have more members, not because its a good site. Thats like saying 50 cent is a good artist because he has more fans.

In a way we did. You guys were probably the first SP fans I told I'd be getting the Ginger interview. And I don't post on any other "big" Pumpkins forums (just a livejournal one that rarely updates.)

I took a peek over at Netphoria and was totally dismayed at their bickering antics. Guh. I just really hope Billy, et al, don't think all fans are like that.

It's interesting the way these sites seem to develop their own personalities.

i couldnt even be bothered reading past the first page... the first reply was someone asking for nude pics from the original poster (i then thought "here we go..." and everyone was being really immature and everything, just being real bitchy... and when people were making valid points or just spoke thier mind, they got shot down by a buncha assholes.

no wonder billy doesnt like netphoria.

that topic had potential, too, before it turned sour.

idk if they really check out message boards, and if they do I dont think that this one is on their radar. maybe a stop every once and a while to netphoria just to get an idea of whats goin on or at least some person does something like that and lets them know. whatever

as far as boards go i love this compared to everything else out there. when i first got into the pumpkins, I started on a board attached to a myspace group, but i got tired of it when the posts started getting stale. then i found this site and lurked for a long time. but i knew about netphoria and the only reason i didnt like it was because the layout sucks. i mean it really and seriously hurt my eyes!!! This site is so much nicer just because the layout is much cleaner.

Now of course the reason i dont like netphoria is because everyone there is a jackass (not that every single person who posts there is). This site has a great community feel and most of the posts are positive about the band and such.

The only thing that i dont like is that this site doesnt get as much leaks and other attention that netphoria does

I remember when the pumpkins played their first show in France and there was the blog with all the pictures. If you clicked on the pictures you'd see people posting about what seemed to be something disgusting about Billy posted about fifty times. You could tell they were from Netphoria.
Big fans, hm?

It would help if the Moderators on netphoria actualy bothered to moderate
they soon get bored if they keep getting thier posts deleted.
I havent been to visit that site for a long time and after seeing this topic had a nother quick look. I was very disgusted to see some of the things they are posting and I dont think ill bother visiting that cess pit again.

I recall Billy saying (I think on Storytellers) that he does sometimes go on the internet, even though he knows he shouldn't, but it's like "what all the bad kids at school think about you". And sometimes he can't resist.
I remember that Pumpkin Queen who was sort of a PR person for them late last year was on here, so I'm sure the band was made aware of us.

I remember that too. I wonder what happened to her.

A lot of people at The Fillmore shows were talking about how awful netphoria is. They said Blamo isn't all that great either. I told them about this site, and they all seem interested, this site got a lot of press those nights I went.

maybe courtney love was the pumpkin queen and billy finaly kick her skank ass to the curve it's about time billy.
