So the rumors tell that Eric Avery of Jane's Addiction is practicing with the band, but it's still not certain what the final lineup will be (excluding Billy and Jimmy). So who do you want in the band?

Ive said it loads of times before, but Id still love SP no matter who the other new members will be....

But Im really wishing for Darcy & James.

And since Darcy looks like an unlikely candidate because of things between her and Billy, Im going for Melissa and James. Well, Im hoping, anyway.

To be honest, it doesnt matter who is in the band aslong as they are SP and they still make great music.

In an ideal world it would be either:

James and Darcy or Melissa

But still, its the music what matters.

Since the question is who SHOULD be in the band, i voted D'arcy and james, however they most likely won't be.

A full reunion would rock though !

I think that both of them play bass, so I didn't put them up there together. I read somewhere that they're Eric and Melissa are competing for the same position. If D'Arcy can't be in, and I doubt that she'll rejoin, I'd like Melissa to be there in her place.

I seriously doubt D'arcy will rejoin, she is at peace now, from what ive heard, she says shes had her fill and she wants her rest

Yes, if I vote for who SHOULD be. . of course, I'd pick James and D'arcy I just don't think it's gonna happen!

My sources say shes happily married and shes happy on her farm breeding horses, and good luck to her.

Speaking of D'Arcy's farm, I was watching the Greatest Hits DVD and someone said that D'Arcy loved the "Tonight, Tonight" video's set/stage so much that she shipped it to her farm. That'd be so cool to have. It'd be like the ultimate collector's item.

i dont think james likes the smashing pumpkins, or music really, i always kind of thought he was a transplant, just a good guitar player who someone (billy) asked to be in their band. so i think he will be there (make some extra $), and mellisa would be cool for bass, so i pick them two...and claudio sanchez...l.o.l

james was half of the pumpkins coolness factor in my opinion

he didn't do much for the music, but did wonders for the image

I really, really hope that this lull in "activity" will be owed to a full reunion. If not, I hope that James will be in, and hopefully Melissa. I don't think Eric Avery would fit at all and I would much prefer Melissa. But I really hope that everyone is back in again.

I'd like to see either James and D'Arcy but I'd be just as happy with James and Melissa, fingers crossed.

I'd assume that it's the other way around. As Jimmy said in an interview, James is willing to come back, and as far as he knew there'd be no problem on his part. James himself also said that he'd see no problem with working with Billy again. D'arcy is very stubborn as we all know and I think that unless she really believes that it'll be worth it for her to come back then she will. None of the Pumpkins are the kind of people who jump at money, anyway.

So yeah, if James is in that's probably more reason for her to come back.

When did Jimmy say that James was willing to come back?
