I mean last time I saw them at a festival which was amaaaazing but still... I'd love to see them in an arena!!

Realy hope they do a proper UK tour this time.
Festivals are OK, but cost way too much if you only want to see one or two bands.
And the only other non festival dates (London and Glasgow) where both too far away from me

Following their impressive Reading and Leeds Festival headlining performances this summer, the reunited Smashing Pumpkins have revealed details of a full UK arena tour taking place in 2008.

Smashing Pumpkins (or at least singer Billy Corgan, drummer Jimmy Chamberlain and a couple of session musicians) reformed in November 2005 and followed the release of last year's new album ‘Zeitgeist’ with a series of very well-received international live dates.

Now they’ve announced a four date UK arena tour in February taking in shows in Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and London at the O2 Arena.

Tickets will be going on sale at 12 noon Friday November 16 and will be priced £30 and £32.50 for London."

Still quite a trip for me, I live in Birmingham, would have been nice if they played NEC .

Nottingham about 1 and 20 mins steady drive (not accounting for traffic)would be about right.
Used to take me about 45 mins from Ilkeston (Notts/Derby border) to Coventry when I was at Coventry Uni.

TBH I cant imagine a significatantly hugh difference between the 3 though, depending where abouts in Birmingham you are.

Well its not exactly in Birmingham I just went for the nearest place you recognise, but I live in Solihull... I would probably have to go via train but the chances of trains running when the gig is finished are pretty slim...
