Of course there's no argument to win - that's the problem. Whenver someone says something negative about the new album 7 or 8 of you feel the need to tell that person WHY YOU think the album is so good...hence the beginning of your so-called argument. Zeitgeist sucks and as long as u all feel the need to scream it doesnt when I say it does the circle of life will continue. So for the last time it sucks - from the cover art to the music - get over the Billy brainwashing.

Billy brainwashing? As much as this board is a reaction to overall negativity of boards like Netphoria, I don't think everyone is brainwashed, at least not me.

My personal opinion is that Zeitgeist was pretty good, but not as good as the previous albums. But if you want negativity, I will give you negativity . "Pomp and Circumstances" initially sounded like it was going to be a song to look out for on Zeitgeist based on description alone, but the description was a misrepresentation of the song. Even after repeated listens, I would say that song (again, only my opinion) is one of the five worst officially released Smashing Pumpkins songs.

Not as bad as Billy's solo song, "Strayz", but still. Speaking of TheFutureEmbrace. I really liked the first half of the album, but felt the 2nd half was mediocre at best.

How about we just stick to our opinions? Believe is never going to like Zeitgeist no matter what you throw at him & the others are gonna stay liking the album no matter how much you hate it.

I thought it was okay, not bad, but not exactly great. I feel as if, unlike Siamese or MCIS, its not an album thats going to stay with you for the rest of your life. Its not an album thats going to emcompass memories. Therefore I really don't feel it holds much artistic merit in comparison to their other albums. Its just ordinary and generic. That is my opinion so I hope no one rips my insides out and starts feasting.

look at it from that perspective, then. flip the coin around. imagine you do like zietgeist and you read post after post about how it sucks and that is the objective truth and you must accept it.

which, i might point out, is exactly what you say every time you post negativity about the album. whether you intend to or not, you come across like you're out to make the world accept a fact that's nothing more than your personal opinion.

you getting upset that i think TFE is a piece of shit is no different that us getting upset that you think zeitgeist is a piece of shit.
