Last night I was channel surfing, and when I flipped through our old UPN (now called WDCA here, not sure what it is everywhere else), anyway, basic cable channel most cable or satellite companies should have - they advertised a Smashing Pumpkins concert for Saturday night. So, I stayed on the channel to wait for the next commercial. Saturday night (December 8 ), 9 PM Eastern /8 Central on a program called Control Room - Smashing Pumpkins concert followed by Fall Out Boy. I believe this is something the Pumpkins recorded specifically for the show.

I believe its just the same show that was broadcast on msn last month. It was recorded on 10/21/07 at the Tower Theatre in Philly.

It's nice that it's being broadcast in HD.

I doubt they broadcast the entire show. Probably a handfull of songs to fill a half hour or so.

still pretty cool though, not liking the fall out boy thing though...

did anybody see this? I searched all over my program guide on the dish and never could find it...

i saw it, i was flippin through the channels and it was on. i was happy but did anyone hear about live earth concert dvd. only 30 bands got on the 2 dvds with one song each. (the pumpkins got on with united states)
