jimmy chamberlin kicks ass on drums (lol, im just listening to the outro to united states)
im glad to hear about this, just because its another four songs added to the official pumpkins song list... and another four songs away from zeitgeist. im not to fond of acoustic songs, but im hoping these songs are not just acoustic and voice. and something more like of a broken heart
the crux sounds like the most interesting song, i cant wait to hear it. woot.
Actually, based on what the media has been describing it as, it sounds to me as if it'll be 4 more steps
towards Zeitgeist. Not that that's a bad thing by any means, but a "continued comment on the state of our country" is definately nothing fresh at this point. Just a continuation.

Personally, I'll hold my excitement until we start hearing more info about a new
album...
I'm sorry, but I can't bring myself to become excited over a digital-only release.

This saddens me greatly, as I've always been an ardent opponent of the digitalization of music. On Wikipedia, they said that there would perhaps be a physical release of the EP internationally? Why not in the States?
Maybe I can fetch it off of Ebay when the time comes...iTunes is silly.
[EDIT: After reading SP.com's news section on AG, I noticed that alot of negativity was being vented toward the EP and the Pumpkins in general. It's like the omnifaceted Zeitgeists all over again - people think that it's Billy, the man, trying to rip them off, when really the Pumpkins are just as victimized as we are by the current musical "Zeitgeist"...meh, let it be known that I'm raging against iTunes, not the Pumpkins. Bring on American Gothic, but fuck iTunes. I'll import the real EP.
American retail doesn't typically carry EP's anyway. Even if the physical product was released in America, we'd probably have to order it online, anyways. Maybe this is what they had in mind when they decided to releae it in this fashion.
Again, screw iTunes. Thank you.]
