So I was watching the new Futurama movie, "Bender's Big Score" with the commentary on today. I think they were talking about something like Bender's head looking like a canned ham, I didn't really catch why.

Anyways, Matt Groening was saying "The Grandeur of Canned Ham, that would be great album title" and Billy West, "Yeah Billy Corgan I already did it" or something to that effect.

Anyone else catch this? I don't recall exactly what part of the movie they were discussing this in, and I tried to find the quotes on the net, but any boards that mentioned it (from google search results) have already pruned those threads.

Yeah, this came up on Netphoria a few weeks ago.
They're talking about how Zapp Brannigan's ship looks kind of like a canned ham.

"I think we really captured the grandeur of canned ham."
"Hey, that would make a great title for an album."
"Billy Corgan already made that song."
"Yeah, he did, haha."

Apparently it's a Zwan reference.

Yeah I was thinking it was a Zwan reference but wasn't sure what they are talking about since Zwan is a band name, not a song or album .

Wow, I didn't even know that existed, I'm gonna rush out and buy it now.

It was just released at the end of November. There will be 3 more Direct-To-DVD Futurama movies- released through the course of the year. All of them will be in widescreen format, but will be changed to 4:3 and cut up into episodes (with additional footage) eventually, and broadcast on Comedy Central.

Without giving anything a way its pretty good, but the pacing is kind of weird sometimes, and it's a very complex story-this is all likely due to the fact that they are going split it up into episodes (just like Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story was).
There A LOT of references to old episodes. So if you are big Futurama fan, you will get kick out of that
