I know this topic is stupid, i just want to express my love for this song!! such the greatest song,. MY GOD!! i seriously dont know what else to say, its just a such a sad and fullfilling song, your thoughts?
It's a decent song, but probably my least favorite off Adore. However I do like the live version. The track from American Gothic was pretty good, but nothing beats this version.
i got so pissed off!! people were there for the party, not the music, and i am with billy when he said "we dedicate this to our fans, all 20 of you", hahaha, so true, like real die hard fans!! u know..

Haha he does have good humour doesn't he, not like the stupid media says ... at the Hordern he was criticizing all the late-comers, then says: "We haven't been here for a long time. You could say we're eight years late" ... although it was a decade but oh well lol
Perfect was, well, perfect when they played it the other night, acoustic, Jimmy on the Tambourine (i think, may have been 1979, can't remember), it was great
it was played like i have never heard it before.
the only version of it that does compare is the version of perfect played electrically on the adore tour which was to raise money for local charities. its on the DVD Crystallization(worth a look).

That's a nice version. I got to see a similar version when they performed it during the Minneapolis free concert in 1998. Although I actually prefer the album version of the up tempo live version:
my second favorite track from adore, it doesn't seem to fit though with the rest of adore though. Adore seems to dark for perfect. (my order goes ava adore, perfect, for martha, nightmare, pug)
