well, the video was posted on the guys blog first, he might have then posted it on netphoria, but he also posted it on sp.com, we would have seen it even if it wasn't posted on netphoria, i for one never go there. but i am on other sites lots, like sp.com, spfreaks.com and this one.

That's because Netphoria has, like, a BIZILLION people signed up to it.

And to the trivia idea... to me it seemed like a good idea at first, but then I thought "that's rather elitist, isn't it? That is SO unlike Billy!"

And yeah, there are different types of hardcore fans. Preventing one type of hardcore fan from going to his favourite band's show isn't very fair.

BUT whatever Billy and co. (whoever else is in SP these days) does, I hope it's original, and gimmicky, cause I looove gimmicks!!

perhaps the quizzes could be something like hearing a short clip of a random song and then picking the correct song title or something. something along the lines of identifying songs from their correct era or something.
that would probably be a bit better.
netphoria is okay. but thepumpkins.net is where the true fans are at!

The quiz idea sounds fun but as said shouldn't be too in-depth but something most fans should know but hard enough to confuse non-fans who only 'like' the pumpkins.

A true SP-run fanclub would be quite cool i think something like a 60's/70's fanclub is what i'd love something true to the band and their ideals, yet not too popularised like SP.com and Netphoria seem to be...

the pumpkins.net is the closest thing to that sort of fan club. that would be awesome though if an exclusive one was created, and the pumpkins regularly visited and chatted with fans.

that would be awesome, wonder if they will start one?

the sad part of this is that because of the negativity of the majority of the people on that site, and the negativity they brought with them to the o-board, and zwan board, is the main reason Billy will not have an official message board anymore.
They ruined it for everyone.
But maybe he will try again, I doubt it, but I am always hoping.

there are alot of people who won't go there, i have heard alot of bad things about it. i tried to check it out once, but all the horrible language and meaness really made me not want to go back.

i hope he will try again too.

I really hope he plays some small venues, that would be nice.

Small venues are the best. It's really the only way to "experience" a show.

It SO is! There is nothing like it! Compared to a arena/stadium /hall venue it's like night and day!
The acoustics alone is one thing, and then the performance is another. I can honestly say the best shows I have ever experienced have been the small venues.

I think 1,000 people is the cut off point for me. Any more and you get disconnected from the band. Ideally I'd like them to play for around 500.
