The Smashing Pumpkins are looking for any original photos from 1987-1992 to be a part of their upcoming Gish Boxset.

Were you a fan of The Smashing Pumpkins since the beginning? I mean WAY back, back before anyone can even remember a thing called grunge, digital cameras, or the internet.

If you were in the thick of it back then, and have the photos to prove it, then this message is for you:

The Smashing Pumpkins are looking for any original photos of the band from between 1987-1992. Any photos that include the original negative (to prove it is yours and authentic) if chosen for inclusion to be included will be licensed (paid for) in order to be included within the upcoming Gish boxset package.
You may ask yourself, "Will my photo work?" Photos can be from a festival, a club gig, after-show party, anything that is from the correct time period and includes the band.

I don't think they're going to be getting much help. I mean who keeps the orginal negative?

you have a point Pistol. i was in kindergarten then, so obviously i have none. but i never hold onto negatives either.

yes, that was a long time ago, no one keeps negatives.

you know if I would have went to a show back in the Gish days I would be that goon ball with negatives, BUT I was never there unfortunately-dammit

i was in 6th grade, so no better, no pics from me. i hope people do have some photos with negatives though, someone out there probably does.

i like the pre- Gish sound myself. some of those songs are pretty good.

im escited fro this box set, more than the new single, even though we probably have most of the songs on it

SP web page says 1987-1992 that would be whilst I was 11-16 years old .........um so that would clash with my hide from the camera phase

haha, it doesn't appear many of us were fans at that point.
