Smashing Pumpkins' "Today" will be on the new Rock Band 2 for Xbox360 for a September release. No word on when the game for other platforms will be released (I'm waiting for the PS3 version myself, but I'm still stuck on medium mode on the original game anyway, haha.)
Check that list though. BIKINI KILL! L7! THE MUFFS! I'm in 90s riot grrl heaven.

my brother plays these types of games- Guitar Hero and Rock Band- he never plays the Pumpkins though because he's a dumbshit and would rather play the emo tracks. 
Tarantula would be a neat addition to one of these games though. |

Apparently Metallica is going to release their whole album on Guitar Hero/Rock Band (one of those) for download the day their album is released. They were quoted in saying that this is how the future of music was going to be-buy the album then be able to play it as well.

Which games were Zero and Siva in?
Also, I heard on E3 that the Rock Band creators plan to have 500 songs for the game by the end of the year and that you'll be able to play all of the songs from the first Rock Band in Rock Band 2.
