i like Saturnine too, but definitely the Judas Ø one. i'm not big on the Machina II version. i always miss the electronica stuff when i hear it.

I am not that big a fan of "Dreaming" either. I don't really like the Moby mix of "1979" either.

i heard the pumpkin version first and it was actually quite awhile before i heard the original, so i actually prefer the Billy version maybe although the original is fine too.
usually with a lot of pumpkin covers i heard the SP version first then maybe the original- like Landslide and stuff. i think that usually makes me prefer the Billy version because it sounds more right sometimes. i do like a few pumpkin covers equally with the originals though and some i don't like at all, so i guess it depends.

hmm.. this is tough. i can rarely pinpoint a favorite on anything related to the pumpkins. i like everything too much. fav electronic SP song.. im gonna discount songs that have just a tinge of electronic mixed in with mostly traditional instruments. therefore id go with destination unknown or the guns of love disastrous. but really.. i love everything during the adore era and eye is an amazing song too.

That's a good point, I heard the Blondie one first (my dad's a huge Blondie fan) so that's probably why I like it more. For the other covers I've heard the SP versions before them as well and like Billy's versions better from the originals that I've listened to, probably for that reason like you said.

yeah, i never heard much Blondie. in fact i only heard the Blondie version of Dreaming a few months ago when i was still working in this store. it came on one day and i was all like- hey, the pumpkins did that.
