I hate Crush, Pug, With Every Light and Tonight, Tonight.
I've always liked "With Every Light" and "Tonight, Tonight", but it took me a while to get into "Pug". I had to hear a live version of it before I liked it.

I've always liked and respected Tonight, Tonight but I've never been really enamored with it. In fact, a good majority of the songs from Mellon Collie and Aeroplane I've never been really crazy about, only a minority were exceptional to me (still liked the rest though).
Same could apply for Gish, I Am One and Tristessa never really appealed to me.

Yeah, with every light so super-underrated!
It's the song symbolizing peace for me...I love it!

That's pretty much just what I think about MCIS, it's an awesome album as a whole, but some individual songs on there don't do it for me as much as Siamese Dream.
Gish is for my happy rockin' moods.

Hmm if I was a bad popular Pumpkins song what would I be?
Out of the singles I always used to dislike 'The Everlasting Gaze' but it's grown on me finally after hearing it for years! The drum beat and chorus structure seems to hook me more so now.
Disarm....I've never actually disliked but I could never really connect with that song as much as many others do. Thirty Three has never been in my hotspots either.

I heard Disarm on the radio this morning when I just woke up. I felt pretty apathetic about it..
Thirty-Three, on the other hand, I would be about as excited about hearing Ava Adore on the radio (which I have only heard once)

He, he...in Germany, the only Pumpkins-song I've ever heard on the radio was 1979. And those noobs called it a Grungesong....
I wonder, what is Silverfuck for them; grindcore metal?

Same here, I agree. Siamese Dream to me was absolutely flawless, and sometimes that casts a shadow on their other albums. So I try to suppress that and view them independently.
Regarding the radio discussion... I've honestly never heard a Pumpkins song on the radio in my area, with the exception of the occasional Bullet with Butterfly Wings. That's it though, pretty shocking.

I have never connected very much with Disarm or Try,Try,Try. Great songs, though. I think Try, Try, Try, just rubs me the wrong way because I saw the video first and it bothered me. The concept of two people loving each other that much was beautiful, but there was just something about it I didn't like.

I saw the video too (on Youtube ) first, it didn't really bother me.
TTT seems like a very "different" SP song, and a very "different" song on Machina. It's "different" like Pomp and Circumstances, or Death from Above

I hardly get to see the Pumpkins' videos over here myself, besides Tonight Tonight and Today (no pun intended) each of which get fairly regular rotation on TV... but that's it! Every other video I've seen about 3 times at the most (even 1979).

That's a shame! I love the videos. Maybe you should try to get their greatest hits DVD. I love being able to watch them whenever I want. I never get tired of them.
