Hey Guys, I was posting a comment to one of the topics and started thinking - Does anyone remember that show VH1's "Bands Reunited" - you know the one with the host that looked like M. Night Shyamalan...Ya know the one. He could talk since into everyone and make the realize that the music is more important than their differences. I really like that show - they should bring it back and start with the original SP.

But Besides SP - What Are some other bands you guys would like to see "REUNITED" for just one more show!!!

I like the show but I think its aimed at an older audience - they've mostly been seperated '80s bands, a lot of the viewers wouldn't have a clue who the Pumpkins are Even though I feel that it being broadcast on a reality TV show would tarnish the reunion, if it got James and D'Arcy back as well I'd have now poblem with it!


I'd love The Smiths to reform, but Morrissey has already said there's no chance. Oh well ...

Yeah, I know that the show was mostly older bands but for the forum's sake you can name any band that you'd like to see back together again...regardless of when they were out. I don't think that Billy calling D'arcy would do any good but if she was approached by that guy and there were cameras and he was spouting about how the Fans really want to see it happen...I think he might - just might - have a chance of convincing her! (Does this make since?)

Yes, but I think D'arcy would balk at all the lameness. If anything, she seems like the type of person who would want a sincere effort made to ask her back to the band...not some publicity stunt type of thing. Anyway, the Smiths definitely won't reunite now cause Johnny Marr is now a member of Modest Mouse. That'll make for some interesting music.

well, 5 of my favourite bands are getting back together next year so i am realy happy

1. Smashing Pumpkins (of course)
2. Metallica
3. Silverchair
4. Powderfinger
5. Nightwish

Is Silverchair an Aussie thing? I never found them too interesting...

both silverchair and powderfinger are aussie, i think they are both good, silverchair is just a bit misunderstood, especialy at an international level
