Are you kidding? They hated each other at that stage. It's a well known fact that Billy recorded all the SD parts by himself (with the exception of Jimmy).

they SEEMED very merry. another reason is because they were all together and apparently jimmy was drug free in siamese dream.
i also liked james hair in those years
