I think over here we're just more about having a good time, and catching some good news! You know, it's like we aren't hounding Billy and Jimmy and getting every scrap of every little piece of everything...
It's more like we just love the Pumpkins' music, and we don't have many others to share that with.

They pick apart music until it's not music anymore. Music can only be talked about so much, and I think that's what Billy was talking about in relation to disabling comments on the SP site.
It's like sure, you can talk about your opinion about a song, a band, etc. but in the end, the music is what matters. So, it only makes sense to talk about music to a certain extent. After that, you just have to listen to the damn stuff!
Everyone's taste is different, so arguing over this and that, which song/album/style, etc. is good, just seems like nonsense to me.

strange. i guess its hard to imagine that since things always seem to be pretty nice over here with the "we're all friends..." atmosphere.
Not quite Netphoria bad, but bad enough to scare away many of the older community members. There were a lot more nitpicking, arguing, personal attacks, etc. But again, it was just the influx of users near the release of Zeitgeist, then they quickly went away. There even used to be a regular poster named "IMasterbate". Or something like that. (Tasteless, imho) But no, not Netphoria bad.

I mean, sure, Netphoria has some great things, but I only manage to stay sane by having Firefox, which allows me to highlight, rightclick, and remove advertisements, or anything out of the script of the page.
It's great! But without it, I wouldn't go to Netphoria often.
