We’re actually thinking about trying to do something really interesting, now that we’re out of the label situation. Our idea right now is to do maybe something like…we would, um…if we could find somebody to do it with us, maybe do, like, um…it’s hard to explain, but maybe some sort of like Internet TV show, where, you know, we would film through the week, and maybe even play on a certain day, the songs, and then every week you’d get to see what the new album’s…like, you’d get to watch the new album being created. So it would be like every week. So you would know, like, if you were watching something live, you know, you’d say, “oh, he just wrote that song two days ago,” or something… I think it would be kind of cool, if we could find the right partner. I mean, if we do it on our own, it would be kind of difficult. But I think we could find somebody interested… I think we’re going to try to find a partner. It could be anybody from VH1 to, you know, uh, some of these HD, uh, Internet channels.
It sounds like they are resurrecting SPTV but in a different way than before. Does anyone remember how they like one or two SPTV segments before Zeitgeist came and then nothing?

i don't, but it would be neat, and i don't think they should have to partner up with anyone, why can't they just do it like they did the day in the life, just put it on youtube, or directly on the website? wouldn't that be the logical place to put it?

Though I guess they want to partner with someone, and that way the partner could be responsible for promoting it, and they'd have more people watching it.
Though I sort of suspect that the only people who'd be really interested in the show would be hardcore fans, which are the same people who would be watching it on their regular website.
So they should just do it themselves! Have PMM set up some cameras and get going.

oh man, no i don' remember, but hey if it was past last week, i am a little foggy on it.
but yes they should do more of that and put it on the darn website. people will see it. like melabonbon said mostly only the hardcore fans will watch it, but put it up on you tube too, more people will see it there, and maybe get some new fans, or grab back some old ones.

I think it could work out really well, or suck really bad.
This is what I want them to do:
Set up numerous webcams and mics all over the studio and have some sort of live stream, 24 hours a day. Then have some sort of paid subscription service to allow fans to view what's going on in the studio whenever they want. This way they wouldn't have to have any "production" issues of a tv show. It would be just like a fly on the wall, and we could listen to everything that goes on. Then maybe have the tv show portion like once a week, or once a month, with Billy and Jimmy doing interview and answering questions. The possibilities are endless.

i think that a live feed would create more problems,thy might have to censor themsleves and that might inhibit the creative juices, plus that would feel kinda wierd, like spying on them or something.
i think a weekly tv show with clips of what they have been doing, them talking, maybe answering a few questions, stuff like that.

yeah, but what if there are things they don't want people to know, and they can't talk about it in the studio? they might get fed up with it. i would hate to have something else taken away.
i would rather have an edited show every week. but that is just me.
