Well, now...did Billy already know about some special happenings in 2007? Had he already plans for a split and a reuinion in the year 1994? Or did he just type some numbers?

It's obvious that Billy is a clairvoyant, and that he knew that the band would fall apart in the late nineties and reunite somewhat in 2007.

Haha, well that's what Billy would probably like us to believe. But know, he did not have such foresight . I think 2007 was probably just signify a time in his life he knew would be very different than the current state he was in at the time, given that he would turn 40 on March 17, 2007.

On the 2007 tip, it was in 1999 that myself and others had started 2007.org with other Pumpkins fans (as a reference to that line in PI liner notes). Landslide is still on there, but it still bugs me to this day that Sebastian (our site admin, who originally ran Sebastian's SP Page and later Suitors Quiet Siege) had only the message 'congratulations, you've reach the end of the internet' on the 2007.org front page for all of 2007. Talk about missed opportunities. I can only imagine how many hits from SP fans and non-SP fans that front page got, with people only finding basically noting .

Coincidentally, I believe it was in 1994 that Matt Sweeney and Billy first discussed what would become Zwan, saying they would form a band together if the Pumpkins ever broke-up. Now whether that story is fabrication or not is another story.

Billy's just a weirdo. If the band had already broken up, I could see him planning to try and get back together, and then writing the year that he was planning to do it. SP wasn't broken up then however, so it's all just coincidence.

okie dokie, i will, but give me a minute, i think it is like in the middle of the q and a session, which is 18 mins long. so 2 shakes and i have to make some iced tea too, so give me 30 mins.

billy: that is a good question, i don't know how to answer it, truthfully.........(silence)........... it's a wierd thing, its like when the band broke up in 2000, we even knew in 1999 the bandwas gonna brake up. alot of people were saying don't brake up, that's a bad idea. and in my mind i had to accept it completely, and then now that we're back, it's like just as much as we had to go away, we've come back. so it makes sense to us that there's dates and times that cordinate to going and coming back. so the answer to your question is no it's not from a fortune teller, but we belive in the power of intention and prophecies. so if we're back because of those things then great, then if not well it's just interesting to talk about.

I asked Billy in 2005 about the whole 2007/re-occurrence of June and Glass in his songs. He smiled and said something like, "Do you REALLY think I'm psychic?" and elaborated on 2007 being his 40th birthday - a big turning point. But then you have that whole story of how a psychic told him that his 33rd year would bring about massive change (aka when SP broke up).

I think he's just playing with the media and the fans. Billy might be brilliant, but he's no clairvoyant.

i agree trillian, i don't think he is psychc, but he is a genius. and i think it is kinda like he said, a fun thing to talk about.

and i thought it was a friend who read his tarot cards, not a psychic, at least that is what he said in the storytellers thing.
