Lay off Netphoria, already.

I don't think it's such a bad idea, my only gripe is that it will attract a lot of Pumpkins "noobs", being that it is the official website.

A lot of people who aren't into the Pumpkins but want to check them out will likely flock to smashingpumpkins.com first.

Even still, that isn't such a bad thing, really.

EDIT: Oh, look, I'm the first person so far to have not made a one line comment on this.

This'll either be really good or really bad. I generally agree with what's already been said here though. It'll probably be full of a lot of casual SP fans who are just hitting SP.com out of interest.

Well I hope they can make it work.......um
we shall see.
From the forums I frequent the ones that do better are the ones that have stricter rules on language/grammar and such like, as it alienates the 1 liner t3xt sp3ak monkeys.
