Reports from Netphoria say they played a full set last night at the Hard Rock in Orlando (instead of the 1 hour set promoters originally said).
“They played a full set. No setlist differences except for Chris on accordian during Set The Controls. [Heavy Metal Machine] ended with Cat Scratch Fever into Rush’s Tom Sawyer with Ginger on vocals! Sound was waaaaay better than Clearwater but not as good at the charlotte(s) shows.”
Also reported that Billy smashed his guitar at the end of United States. This free concert was pro shot, so hopefully we'll get some good video of this show.

How can it be "reported" but not "confirmed" when thousands of people would of seen it?

They are all way more comfortable with each other and the music. BC and JC had been away from SP for 7 years when the Zeitgeist tour started. And the other 3 were brand new members. Now they've all worked, played, and toured together for over a year and they're just a lot more comfortable and confident.
The Asheville residency show was amazing, but for the most part they all just stood there on stage, delivered the songs, and left. On this tour, they were moving around, enjoying the moment, and just flat out rocking.
I think that on the Zeit tour there were nerves and uncertainty surrounding everything they were doing...they hoped so badly that it would work and everything wouldn't fall through their fingertips again, but they couldn't be certain about anything because of teh 7 year lay-off. Now they have confidence and they're not thinking about that kind of stuff...just letting it flow and doing what comes naturally.
very well said by everyone. i definitely agree that billy and jimmy are not back in it just for the money. billy def has his heart AND soul into the music. the zeitgeist tour did seem more like they were going about business. i was at the show in charlottesville and everyone was simply having FUN. during transformer billy was hopping about on stage like a little school boy. they were all smiling and laughing. then of course the additions to united states and heavy metal machine really brought out the energy and passion in the band. i really cant wait to see what the future has in store.

I was thinking the same thing as I was watching it.
It's really kind of pathetic to say, being I have always loved the Pumpkins, but I have never seen them live I was dying to go last time they were in Atl, I called the radio station like a million times trying to get tickets but never could Watching this makes me want to see them so bad I could just cry!!

OK; I confess I havent really bothered to keep much of an eye on this tour precisely because I thought It'd be more of the same, but watching the videos makes it really look something special.
And that duet with Eva is so heartwarming to watch. Im looking forward to being on a few pumpkins songs in 10 years or so!
And PistolPete: dont tease me about For Martha again haha - its so cruel.

Haha. Don't shoot the messenger. That was accidently reported on another board. I just report what I see.
I'm still waiting to see the video of Billy smashing his guitar at the end of United States in Orlando.

Why don't I just buy a ticket?
It's not that easy! Being a single mom I am always broke, and then finding someone to go with me isn't exactly easy either! The next chance I get I'll probably drag my 16 year old nephew along, but he really isn't a big Pumpkin fan.
