i did as well, quite a mysterious painting as well. so many subtleties in the picture.

I had seen that famous painting before, but I did not know until the start of this year that it was called "American Gothic".
Kind of like how I know (just like everyone else does) knows the famous Beethoven song that goes "BUM-BUM-BUM-BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM" but I only found out that it was called "Symphony No. 5" this week when we started studying Beethoven this week in music class.
It pisses me off so much that classical and romantic composers had that much talent and creativity to make these amazing pieces, and yet they still can't give a piece a proper fucking name. It's like they're songs on a production line.
