Does this mean that the photos we've seen of the band sitting in a circle on that nice carpet are "live studio" versions of the Residency songs?

If so, I'm so excited! I mean, I'm still so damned excited for this! This is everything I could have imagined.

I like the fact that the 5 residency songs they've picked are actually my 5 favourite

It looks extremely trashy and very cliché that they would use the Siamese Dream font.

Bonus Tracks: Live From The Floor Of The Fillmore
99 Floors*
Peace + Love*
No Surrender*
Mama*
Promise Me*

Of all the residency songs, IMO these are the worst. It doesn't really make sense to me that they would put these songs on the DVD as bonus tracks, when they are part of the live set already. Mix it up a bit...
Well, I hope the documentary is good, because I'm not liking anything from Disc 2. Well, maybe Starla and Gossamer....but that's it.

I was really hoping for Psalm 131... I love that song!

I imagine though, that the documentary on the first disc will feature other songs in full or in part that aren't listed in the actual concert footage.

As for the artwork, the face on the cover is... interesting? I like the font because it represents something that is very "Pumpkinesque." After all, wasn't that font created for Siamese Dream? It does sort of match the artwork, even if it is a tad scary.

Perhaps the artwork is an extension of previous posters that have been created for those venues? They are famous after all, so perhaps the Pumpkins are trying to bring back a more traditional look and atmosphere?

But hell, I'm sure the performances and songs will be spectacular, so I'm not too concerned over the artwork.

Does anyone notice that the song If All Goes Wrong doesn't seem to be in the tracklisting?

well i like the artwork
it goes along (sorta) with the other poster for the august tour
and it is was created by Linda Strawberry as well
as for the font, it was probably just the one that fit best with the artwork? i dont know...

hahhaha ive actually seen a neighborhood sign with the Siamese Dream font on it (i think the actual name of the font is Lansbury) i dont remember the neigborhood name

I like the artwork, but think they should have used a Zeitgeist font for the title. Not that it presents an issue to me.

I can't wait to see the band performing what is now one of my top 5 favorite Pumpkins songs, Gossamer. It's epic enough in it's audio form. Audio/visual will be truly intense.

Yeah, I'm not really a big fan of the artwork. They should have just made it three discs so that we would have more of an actual concert to watch, but oh well. I'm just glad they are releasing something for us to enjoy! Even if it doesn't have "Question Mark" or "If All Goes Wrong" on it...

yeah the font is actually called Lansbury like blister said. it is from the old show in the 1980's called Murder She Wrote which starred the actress Angela Lansbury. anyway... personally i like the artwork because it is actually... art. i hate covers that just have a normal live picture of the members of a band or something bland like that. this artwork has the same type of feel as the august tour poster. i like the colors and the psychedelic feel to it. anyway... the real point is the dvd itself and it is more than i was expecting with both a documentary AND a concert (even if its spread out over several different shows). Just wish we could have gotten a few more of the residency only songs though.

Oh, and i do hope the audio CD will still be coming out.

Nah, I think it's just one is performed in front of in audiance, and the other bonus version is the band just playing the song for rehearsal.

I can't help but be a bit disappointed by this information. I was hoping it would include *ALL* the "Residency Songs", i.e. the ones played there and not otherwise recorded, b
