So on my searching for everything Billy last night (for the Bio)
I was reading about his solo side project Starchildren and there was not a whole lot about it.
Maybe you could dig up something on that topic too please!! I am curious....

The Pumpkins called themselves The Starchildren when they recorded songs that didn't fit with the actual sound of the band. They also have a cover of Joy Division's 'Isolation' under that name.

nicely done ghostchild, I never got to see them in chicago, I am east coast, but a metro show would have been great to see. Did your grandfather really have that car?

Maybe they are waiting to play there for a final metro show dvd release party. Hopeful

I have to admit, the packard story was exaggerated just a little for effect. There was an old car, but it wasn't a packard. It was actually an original VW beetle....but that just didn't sound quite as cool as a 57 packard...lol.

That would be insanely cool to have a DVD release party at the metro some day. We shall see!

That was a good article, but I think I noticed a mistake..

Won't it be the first time since 2000 (their "final show" that they played in Chicago, not the first time since the reunion?
